CPS Energy is seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to serve in the inaugural Program Manager to stand up a new framework in support of the Wholesale Rates Team. This individual will support a $2B CPS initiative investing in transmission and generation.

PROGRAM MANAGER…
CPS Energy is seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to serve in the inaugural Program Manager to stand up a new framework in support of the Wholesale Rates Team. This individual will support a $2B CPS initiative investing in transmission and generation.
- The Program Manager will build processes and procedures to support large scale fillings for the Wholesale Team – gathering and presenting critical data internally and externally
- Cross-functional Management: Works with Government Relations, Accounting/Finance, Rates Team, Corporate Communications, and Legal and outside Counsel to gather information through specific roadmaps
- Work closely with Senior Leadership to build communications and messaging around progress
- Play role in other critical projects such as the implementation of a new ERP and other project improvement initiatives
BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS…
- Senior level experience as a Program/Project Manager, Business Analyst or Chief of Staff, Senior Level Executive Support, government or energy or utility industry exposure highly preferred
- Ground up Project Management experience in a highly regulated environment. Strong communicator that brings a spirit of collaboration with a high level of detail
- Exposure to electricity rate design concepts and best practices highly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
- Reside in San Antonio, Texas or willing to relocate
