YOUR TYPICAL DAY…
- Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Electronically file documents with state and federal courts and maintain case files
- Coordinate scheduling with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
- Monitor litigation deadlines, support docketing, billing, and trial preparation activities
YOU HAVE / BACKGROUND PROFILE…
- 4+ years of administrative experience in a law firm or legal environment
- Experience supporting litigation or insurance defense practices preferred
- Working knowledge of litigation timelines, court procedures, and e?filing systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and written communication skills
EXTRA CREDIT / NICE TO HAVES…
- Familiarity with insurance carriers, claims handling, or property litigation workflows
- Experience with legal billing or document management software
- Legal assistant certification or associate degree
