DIRECTOR OF ENTERPRISE DATA & ANALYTICS

Our client is seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to serve in the inaugural Enterprise Data & Analytics role.  This individual will assemble a team of high performing individuals to establish a federated model for Data Management.  They will have the opportunity to define the enterprise Data and Analytics Vision and Strategy. 
  • Under the direction of the CIO, establish a Data Governance Framework.  Lead a team of approximately 10 individuals.   The Director will have a unique opportunity to deploy new technology, reporting and use of Artificial Intelligence.
 
  • Champion new Data initiatives through transparency and understanding of where the organization is today and inspire others about the future of how Data can impact their daily productivity
 
  • Improve Data Catalog and Literacy, possess the ability to translate languages throughout the organization to a consistent Data Vocabulary
 
  • Work to enhance current capabilities and solutions to enable reporting and advanced analytics
 
  • Foster a data-driven culture, work with a spirit of cross-functional collaboration between all business unit data analysts, stewards and stakeholders.
 
  • Establish metrics to monitor and prove effectiveness of data initiatives
 
  • Effectively execute Data & Analytics road map, working within timelines and producing quick results

Current Technologies: 
 
  • Datawarehouse: MSSQL 2022
  • Reports: SSRS, Crystal (Limited)
  • Integration:  Boomi, Azure DataFactory, Qlik (Replication)
  • Analytics and Visualization:  Tableau, PowerBi (limited), Excel, Knime, Pyhon
  • AI/ML:  Baseform – Failure Analysis, Sewer CCTV Vision (Pilot), Customer Service Chat Bot (Pilot), Co-Pilot (Pilot)
  • Planned migration to MS Azure Datawarehouse and Analytics Platforms


BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS…
 
  • Senior level Data & Analytics experience, proven track record of taking new ideas and initiatives through execution  
     
  • Inspirational Leader, proven track record in moving an organization forward in leveraging data to impact the organization in a multi-faceted way
 
  • Process-Oriented, excels working as a technical liaison between technical and business teams
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred.  Advanced Data Science education or certification highly preferred. 
 
  • Reside in San Antonio, Texas or willing to relocate
