The Role:
  • Oversee marketing communications, including digital campaigns, traditional advertising, graphic assets, and paid social media initiatives.
     
  • Spearhead initiatives to create demand, driving daily ticket sales, membership and develop season campaigns to attract local and regional tourism
  •  Manage seasonal campaigns, promotions, and special events designed to increase visitation during peak and off-peak periods.
 
  • Ensure marketing messaging remains on brand and with emphasis on guest experience
 
  • Analyze attendance trends, visitor behavior, and market conditions to inform marketing strategies


BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS…
  • Dynamic marketing professional with expertise in attendance marketing best practices.  Proven experience working for zoos, museums, theme parks, sports teams, festivals, tourism destinations, and entertainment venues highly preferred.
 
  • Servant-leader with a heart for people and a passion for excellence
 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, media buying, and audience segmentation
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
 
  • Reside in San Antonio, Texas or willing to relocate.
