Assistant Chief Medical Dosimetrist - Proton
Hybrid | Full-Time

Your typical day:
  • Create and review high-quality proton treatment plans to support timely patient starts
  • Serve as a clinical and operational partner to the Chief Medical Dosimetrist & Chief Physicist
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and real-time support to dosimetry staff
  • Assist with coverage planning, scheduling support, and workflow coordination
  • Support onboarding, training, and competency development for new and visiting dosimetrists
  • Participate in complex cases, quality initiatives, and workflow or education-focused projects
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, physicists, therapists, and partner programs

What we are seeking:
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (MDCB required)
  • 5+ years of recent clinical dosimetry experience
  • 2+ years in a senior, lead, or supervisory dosimetry role – ideal if within a proton environment
  • Strong proton planning background with ability to independently support clinical workload
  • Confident communicator with experience leading small teams and navigating interdisciplinary dynamics
  • Organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing clinical and leadership responsibilities
