Information Security Officer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and enforce policies and procedures that protect the organization's computing infrastructure  

• Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with the department to resolve them, ensuring that the network and data remain secure 

• Develop the Information Security Program and subsequent control framework and report to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on the status 

• Manage the Information Security Risk Assessment (ISRA) and mitigate identified security risks through implementation of technical security controls, training, and/or process enhancement 

• Define and measure enterprise Information Technology compliance with defined policies, standards, and guidelines 

• Evaluate and recommend security solutions 

• Engage with management to understand new initiatives, IT and other departments to understand the flow of information and the risks to that information 

• Participate in industry-collaborative efforts to monitor, share, and discuss emerging security threats 

Qualifications: 

• Expertise in Cyber & Information Security, Data & Program Analysis, and Incident Response 

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Disaster Recovery, Information Technology Risk, and IT Standards and Controls 

• Financial industry background is preferred 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information System, Information Technology or Cyber Security 

• Strong communication abilities across all levels of organization
